Overview Location: MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital, 575 S. DuPont Hwy., New Castle, DE 19720MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital is the Premier Mental Health and Co-Occurring Addiction Treatment Center for Adolescents, Adults, and Seniors in New Castle & Wilmington, DE. This 130-bed acute care hospital offers a range of services, including Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Detox and Substance Use Treatment, Inpatient Treatment, and specialized Adult and Geriatric Programs to address community needs.We are currently seeking to add a Full-Time, Addiction Medicine Psychiatrist to join our team!For more information, please contact Eva Fassauer at eva.fassauer@acadiahealthcare.com or call/text 615-861-7410.About the role:Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling (psychotherapy), psychoanalysis, hospitalization and/or medication. Responsibilities Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.
