Sanctuary Hotel NYC is looking for a General Manager with true upscale boutique hotel experience. This role leads all hotel operations and ensures the property maintains its boutique, lifestyle feel in the heart of Midtown. The right leader thrives in guest-facing environments, understands NYC hotel dynamics, and knows how to elevate service moments in a fast-moving boutique hotel. Sanctuary Hotel is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager Hotel to lead our team in New York, NY. This leadership role requires a passionate professional dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving operational excellence, and fostering a positive work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, and promoting the growth and profitability of the property. Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze budgets, and control expenses to meet targets.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate hotel staff to achieve high levels of performance and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, and local community partners.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in services and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role.
• Proven track record of driving profitability and managing large teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of hotel management software and industry trends.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
