We are looking for a skilled Custom Millwork & Cabinet Maker to join our shop team. This long-term opportunity is ideal for the professional who takes pride in precision craftsmanship. You will build one-of-a-kind cabinetry, architectural details, and custom interiors for luxury homes throughout Coastal Orange County.

SIGN-ON BONUS
New employees are eligible to earn a total Sign-On Bonus of $1,500:
● $500 after successfully completing 90 days
● $1,000 after successfully completing six months
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
● Build custom cabinetry and architectural millwork from start to finish.
● Read and work accurately from cut lists, shop drawings, and project specs.
● Handle the full process: Cut, mill, assemble, install hardware, and prep for finish.
● Operate woodshop machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
● Confirm measurements, squareness, fit, and finish throughout fabrication.
● Catch drawing or material issues early before they turn into fabrication problems.
● Keep projects on track according to our quality standards and build schedules.
● Assist with loading, staging, and preparing completed projects for delivery.
● Keep your bench and work area clean, organized, and safe.
● Communicate clearly and work respectfully with everyone.
● Use the Workforce App on your phone to track time and enter project notes.
SHOP MACHINERY AND TOOLS
Operate woodworking machinery such as:
● Table and sliding table saws
● Jointers and planers
● Shapers and band saws
● Wide-belt and orbital sanders
● Drill presses and routers
● Edge banders
● CNC operation (a plus, but not required)
● Other standard woodworking machinery and hand tools
QUALIFICATIONS
● Possess the skills and experience required to build high-end residential cabinetry and architectural millwork with strong attention to detail.
● Able to read cut lists and shop drawings accurately.
● Mastery of material breakdown, milling, joinery, assembly, edge treatment, sanding, surface preparation, and hardware installation.
● Hands-on experience with solid-stock milling, face-frame construction, European-style cabinet construction, and miter folding.
● Knowledge of commonly used wood species, veneers, sheet goods, and typical woodworking materials.
● CNC experience (a plus but not required)
● Able to work independently as well as with others.
● Reliably commute daily to our shop in Laguna Hills, CA.
● Exhibit professional shop habits and a good work ethic.
● Flexible and level-headed when project priorities or design specs change.
● Able to perform the essential physical functions of an active shop environment, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Remain stationary or move about the shop floor for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Adjust body positioning to manage materials or machinery at varying heights.
- Safely transport items up to 50 lbs individually, and heavier loads with assistance.
- Accurately read blueprint details, measure tolerances, and inspect materials.
- Precisely manipulate and safely operate shop tools, power machinery, and other materials.
